That’s likely one reason the Sugar Mamas Shopping Experience was the talk of the town leading up to March 9, with founder Amy Jah spearheading the movement. As the idea turned into action, Jah wanted the community to know this event was about more than just a day of spending money.
At LEAD Girls of NC, a Winston-Salem nonprofit that encourages and mentors girls to aspire and achieve greatness academically, emotionally, and creatively, we’re incredibly fortunate to walk alongside our LEAD girls as the bloom and blossom all year round. Close to 400 girls in Forsyth County participate in our LEAD programs through partnerships with their local middle schools, weekend programs, summer camps and our annual Expo.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the workplace are fundamental in allowing people of all backgrounds to explore and develop their talents, in an environment where they feel they belong. Cam’s Coffee Creations goes above and beyond to fulfill that mission.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (APRIL 2, 2024) – The 2024 RiverRun International Film Festival, marking its 26th year, has announced the official lineup for this year’s Festival. RiverRun will take place April 18-27 and will feature screenings of 197 selections that represent 51 countries, culled from a pool of nearly 2,000 submitted films.
