Bella Sol Medical Spa: Self-Care At The Cellular Level

By: Sherry Shaw-Adams

When self-care is mentioned, we focus on exercise, meditation, or making better choices with our daily eating habits. At Bella Sol Medical Spa, their focus is ‘self-care at the cellular level.’ Although medical spas have existed since the 1990s, the self-care trend grew around 2012 as millennials became older, bringing the concept a refreshed and more modernized identity. Owner and CEO Jalissa Grier’s vision of her medical spa derived from the lack of representation within the aesthetic and medical spa community for those specializing in treating melanated skin.

“I believe that when you’re well-informed, you’re empowered to make the best choices for your aesthetics and wellness. From discussing the latest treatments to diving into personalized plans, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. Your journey is unique, and together, we’ll create a masterpiece that reflects your inner radiance.”

As a family medicine nurse practitioner, Jalissa carefully applies her eight years of experience to every client, no matter the service. She can also offer services that other aesthetic institutions may not be able to, such as vitamin injections, lab testing, platelet-rich plasma, and lipo-dissolve (PCDC) treatments. One of their most popular services is IV hydration, where clients can choose from various hydrating cocktails to suit particular needs: Energy Boost, Immune Support, Migraine Cocktail, Mommy Boost, Pregame/Hangover, and more!

Other popular services include their invigorating Hydrafacial and HydraBody treatments that include deeply cleansing, exfoliating, and extracting impurities from the skin while simultaneously infusing nourishing ingredients to hydrate. Bella Sol Medical Spa advocates for normalizing cosmetic injectables like Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin while ensuring you have the proper education and products to care for treated areas between treatments. The spa now offers packages for those interested in medical-assisted weight-loss programs where compounded Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, and other combination therapies are used for those who qualify based on lab assessments and a consult with Bella Sol’s healthcare provider.

Now in a new location with additional staff members, their boho chic medical spa welcomes walk-ins for select services and shopping for skincare products! Aware that medical spa treatments are a luxury to some, alternative forms of payment like FSA/HSA accounts and Cherry Financing are accepted. This November, Jalissa is generously hosting an IV Hydration & Medical Spa Start-Up Course for those interested in starting their own.
